Dear readers, my name is Marley and I have CP. “CP” stands for Cerebral palsy. This disability is sometimes caused by a lack of oxygen. Cerebral Palsy can affect different people in different ways. For example, the person you saw behind you in the checkout line at the grocery store the other day might have had it and been walking just fine. For other people, like me, it might be more evident. They might be in a wheelchair or have a speech impediment. Although we might look different, talk differently,or move differently, we are still the same as you. Please treat us the same as you would treat an able bodied person.
